Hi

I have been having costo symptoms on and off for about 3 years. Last year I had it for around 2 months then it went away for almost a year. Now I’ve got the ache back again  which can be in the area below my right armpit, into my arm, ribs and below my right shoulder and into my right boob. The ache moves around and I find it relieves when I’m in bed. Sometimes it seems to go into my nipple too. Last year I had a tender area by my sternum but this year it seems more like under my right boob but not as tender as before. Even though I have had this in the same area on and off I still worry. Has anyone else had this?  Do you get similar aches in similar places? I’ve tried moving my computer at work in case this starts it off. Why does it come and go?

I have the pain but on my left side. It starts down the middle and across my left breast to the side. I find that the cold even air conditioning or fans will trigger it. So, I try to keep my chest warm as much as possible. It’s hard in the warm months. The pain is really bad when I get it. I haven’t had pain since May.   When it’s really bad, I take 500mg naproxen. Just 1 a day. It relives it.
