Costs lots of pain this condition

I was diagnosed with costo a few years ago, but it subsided for quite a while, but I think it's back, I've had a lower back condition that has caused me alot of anxiety, now I'm getting pain in both sets of ribs and upper spine and left shoulder blade, does anyone else get this type of symptoms with costo

I'm going through the same as you are!!! Our story is identical. I have pain in both ribs and my upper spine hurts the worst. Almost unbearable. And nothing works. I also have the left back shoulder blade pain. And I've noticed my arm are starting to have a burning feeling. I'm so tired of going through this pain. You are not alone

So sorry it has come back again. This condition really stinks!!!!  Have you tried accupuncture? Heard lots of people have had succes with accupuncture. I get relief from a med called neurontin and soft ice packs as well. Theres also a site you can google for Costro exercises. Good luck and hang in there!!! We are all here to help each other.

I have Costro over 17 months on and off. I also see a therapist.. she helps me with anxiety. I pray alot too That definitely helps me too!!!

Hi thanks for your reply, I really feel for you too as it's horrible, rib pain is awful and it even went up the back of my neck today and chest tightened, fed up with it and supposed to be going on holiday tomorrow night

Thanks, I just get so paranoid about my symptoms and anxiety goes overboard, just had ribs hurt and felt pressure then sternum hurt now got knotted feeling in back pain going up into neck, so horrible

no worries  i totally understand. i get the same way as well. its good that we can all help each other!!!!!!  this condition is definitely anxiety provoking

Yep it's great to chat to others who have same condition, when you get the pain in your back and neck do you panic

I try not to, I have a counselor that has taught me ways to cope with anxiety. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesnt. The pain in my chest from Costro makes me anxious. So Ill use soft ice packs and take neurontin for pain. It helps.
