Hi. I have cold and yesterday i was having a really bad coughing fit. All of a sudden i felt a strange sensation in my right shoulder then all of a sudden it dislocated. Lucky that my parents where in as i screamed out and they came up as i was just screaming can you come up. I had to put a lot of force on my wrist to hold it down as it felt like my arm would just twist over my head. My dad put it back and it went with a right pop. Should just coughing make your shoulder dislocate?.
I phoned doctors afterwards for an appointment just to make sure it was ok. All receptionist said was go to A&E which at this point it didn't need. They would not make an appointment for this. Its painful today but can move it but just feels like it just could come out again as it feels really weak. Should coughing dislocate your shoulder?.
Hello, I would imagine coughing could dislocate many things. My mother fractured a rib just by sneezing. I would phone the doctors again & I don't think the receptionist has the authority to refuse you a doctor's appointment. If the receptionist asks why you want to see a doctor say you have pains in your shoulder. Good luck.
Yes it can . Make an appointment with your GP to get your shoulder checked out. They will then have a record of this which may help if it happens again. You may be prone to this sort of dislocation so they need to know. Clever Dad to know what to do to put it back. Has he done this before?
No its not done it be for but from 2001 to 2004 i did have a lot of seizures which is under control and not had any since. Seizures where due to kidney failure and since dialysis and transplant 10 years ago ive been seizure free. Unless the seizures have weaken my shoulder due to what seizures do.
