Could barely pee 11 days after Rezum

Hi all, I had Rezum (8 shots) on June 1 and they removed my Foley catheter today (June 12). Six hours later I could only pass about 100 ml. Doc put the Foley back in and said come back in two weeks.

I’m usually not overly optimistic about things but was disappointed because I thought I’d heard many guys were peeing well just a few days after the procedure. I’m curious if any other guys have had a similar experience with Rezum and how things ended up. Thanks for any comments.

Updating this to say that things improved greatly. Peeing well and PVR is down to about about 250 (from over 1000) and still improving. Looks like I had unreasonable hopes/expectations about speed of improvement in light of what I’d read from some other Rezum patients.

Bottom line is that I’m very happy with the results so far.
