That sure is something bad; it must be herpes. See your doctor as soon as possible.
Dear misslizz,
I think it would be sensible to see a gynaecologist, but I probably wouldnât jump to conclusions about it being herpes until a swab for HSV DNA positively identifies this.
You say youâve had these âwhite spotsâ on your labia for AT LEAST ONE MONTH??? If thatâs the case, itâs unlikely to be herpes because itâs a condition which flares up for maybe a week or so, then clears. Is this happening or are you experiencing a persistent condition? Also, you havenât mentioned if you have pain or itching symptoms. Are you experiencing any of this?
Rgds,
Adhari
Hi Adhari,
thanks for your reply.
I think last month i spotted a small lump like a normal pimple and then it had a white head but it disappeared. Now 3 days ago I spotted these.
Basically itâs not itching at all. it just hurts when I urinate or clean myself because is swollen. I have discharge but like I normally have. They asked me if it has weird colour and smells but it is totally normal.
have called the sexual clinic but I guess because of coronavirus they donât check. so over the phone they told me it is herpes without seeing anything.
I just came back from the clinic because they told me to go and pick up medicines but yet they didnât check or seen me down there which concerns me a little.
so I will take the medication and see how it goes but I still want to get checked properly not phone-consultation.
I tried but they gave me âphone consultationâ so I still dont know what it is. they havenât tested or even seen it
This been said. Now, I donât know if from March to April disappeared or just evolved silently. Do you have any ideas where I can ask? obviously the sexual clinic didnât test or seen anything so whatever it is I want to be calm by knowing 100% is Herpes or another thing.
thanks for your help ![]()

Dear Misslizz,
As mentioned before, without testing we are literally in the dark about whether itâs herpes or not. From your description it sounds like youâve had it before in the same place, cleared up on its own, then returned. Am I correct?
If thatâs the case then herpes is a possibility and if they prescribed aciclovir meds, then that is the right course of action and you should get a good response from taking it.
Once lockdown gets lifted, getting tested for herpes (when you have the sores reappear) should be a priority.
Rgds,
Adhari.
hey!
Im having the exact same problem right now. Did you find out if it was herpes? or what did it end up being?
I have the same, did you find out what it was?
unfortunately it was herpes. i felt down for a couple of weeks but oh well I have to live with it.
pls go GP and check as well.
whatever it is I hope you will be fine
oh Iâm sorry.
Were the white dots blisters? And did you have pain?
And what test did you make?
yes, they were. I had pain when I had yo wipe myself after using the toilet or it burned a little bit when I urinated because the pee touched the blister.
basically they could only tasted when I had the breakdown with the blisters by rubbing the blister to take example.
then they gave me some medication to take 3 times a day after every meal and it supposed to go away within 5 days, if not you need a different treatment
so did they use a swab? Or were you diagnosed just visually?
i managed for them to do a swab after asking a few times.
so you were diagnosed by a swab?
yes
thank you for following up with us!
you are very welcome ![]()
