I am not sure about the man's medical history he just asked me bery concerned whether I had any disease, I said no but I was too distressed at the moment to ask him. My question is could I have contracted HIV?

Having said this, it can take 2 weeks to 6 months for your body to start making HIV antibodies, so any tests during that period may show a negative, so in the meanwhile purely as a precaution I would definitely mention what has happened to your doctor who may have futher advice for you.

Right now there isn't anything you can do about it, so tey not to stress yourself. Go get rwates in 3 weeks and then in 3 months from the date you had sex w him. 3 mo this is the recommended window, that your body would most likely have antibodies by then to an infection. Your risks are very high, but they're still there. I would tey not to stress about it.
