Hello lovelies I posted on here a few days ago about skipped period last month and an extremely light period this month. I have lower pelvic pain on left side ache in upper thigh and lower back all on same side. Just wondering if this could be a cyst. I have never had an issue with cyst but hey this is peri hell lol. Its uncomfortable but not extremely painful. Any ladies ever experience this or who have had a cyst that's caused issues. Any and all advice would be appreciated.. Tyia
I had a cyst about a year ago that may have caused the kinds of things you describe. But, since I’m in peri, I have no idea what symptoms may be related to that and which may have been from the cyst. I felt pressure in my pelvis, had some lower back aches, and some cramping. I have seen that cysts are more common during menopause because of the hormonal imbalance.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful, but it’s so hard to know what is perimenopause related and what isn’t. Everything I describe above has happened more than once over the last year or so, but I’m not sure if I had a cyst each time or not.
is there any chance of pregnancy, i know you say you had light period but just asking as this is the sort of pain i had with an ectopic pregnancy, more so the leg pain however i have had ovarian cysts in the past and symptoms very similar so could very well be cysts, i had them off and on and they do usually resolve themselves, however if pain continues i would see doct for vaginal ultrasound , cysts can get quite large, mine were always on my left, haven’t had them in years now
