Could it be bowel cancer

Hi I am 72 years old and had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago. Have never really been rid of the pain in in the gallbladder area. the pain has now spread to the rest of my abdomen well more like a strong ache really. no blood in stools but bowel movements can be a bit iffy, sometimes loose, sometimes constipated and sometimes normal. Scared to go to drs in case it is cancer. Does anyone have similar symptoms?

I would not worry about cancer too much. Abdominal surgery like bladder removal can cause constipation down the road which is caused by scar tissue which is probably why your bladder pain never completely went away.

They will want to do a colonoscopy or barium imaging for sure to diagnose a obstruction of sorts.
