My labia are extremely swollen as well! I only just got these a couple of days ago, and did go to my doctor but she claimed they looked nothing like heroes and tested me for other things, which all came back negative! I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years, and like to believe we have both been faithful. We had sex 4 days ago, and after it hurt really bad to pee. It has now escalated to excruciating pain every time I go. Any ideas??
Oh no, no idea how to upload a pic but there are some bumps that don't appear to have anything in them, and red blotches inside and around my vagina!
It hurts to pee? Does it create a burning sensation? It could be gonorrhea.

Is there a specific sexual health clinic you could go to? Or do you need to attend this doctor? Red patches, bumps, burning and swelling? Got to be either a really bad yeast infection (but you should then have white cheesy discharge) or herpes, IMO. Please try another health professional.

Sorry to say girl, but that is definitely herpes! Go back to that doctor and demand treatment. Do not wait for swabs (but should be done ) asthey are low sensitivity- don't pick up all cases, but high specificity - correct if positive). Get antiviral plus meds for pain!!!
