had this same open sore for weeks on and off. ill scratch it or shave and itll come back but it takes weeks to heal

If a wound takes weeks to heal you are at risk for infection so show the doctor soon.
I had a piogenic granuloma that wouldn’t heal for days and I got an infection but I got antibiotic soon after the doctor saw it.
