Hi all I (F25) was dating a guy (M28) for a few months and we had protected sex a couple of times but also unprotected oral a few times too. We took some photos during and I noticed today!) in one of the photos that he had 1 small flesh coloured bump near the bottom of his penis. I am kind of concerned now that this may be genital warts / HSV and that I may be at risk for oral HPV.

FYI he was a hairy guy and was always trimmed down there so it could be an ingrown hair but just wanted just wanted to check if anyone had any ideas for my peace of mind. Thanks!

I can’t be 100% certain if the lump on the penile shaft is a genital wart. It’s certainly NOT herpes (HSV) infection.

In any case, have you received the HPV vaccine (Gardasil)? If you have, you should be protected from acquiring genital and oral HPV from vaginal and oral sex, respectively.
