For the last two weeks I have been having itching in my vaginal area, only in the labia area. I read the treatment BV or a yeast infection(home remedy) was a small amount of peroxide mixed with water. And so I started doing that. There is has been no burning when I pee, no pain, no discharge, no redness, not sensitive to the touch, no smell, no pain during masturbation, or when I insert my fingers, etc. I have not had sex in a few months. And when I did (6months ago) my partner and I always used protection. I was last tested for STI etc in December 2017, and everything came back negative. Today I felt within my vagina and I noticed some bumps, they weren't painful. But I went to the doctor right away. He did a pelvic exam, took a swab, and told me it was a yeast infection and nothing looked abnormal. But he said nothing of the bumps. I asked for STI test and he agreed, but told me they would probably come back negative. I get my results back tomorrow or Thursday. But I am worried could this be something else. I feel fine. I was also given meds for yeast infection.
You should normally have a 3-month STD test routinely just to make sure. But it sounds like it's nothing you should be just a yeast infection. Good actions for getting tested and getting checked. As your doctor said your results should be negative and it might be just a yeast infection. Hope everything goes well
Do you think he bumps in the photos look abnormal?
It seems normal to me but if you really want to get a real diagnosis you need to go see a doctor.
After some similar bumps that I had and after making a lot of research, I found out about this thing called vestibular papillomatosis. Look it up and also talk to your doctor about it. It is not an STI and nothing to worry about. It seems like you have this.
