Started in 2014 after my 2nd C-Section... full time working mom of 2 boys 1 1/2 years apart.. I will start off by saying I have general anxiety but have never had a panic attack. My HR not on stimulants is typically 57 bpm with good, low BP. Chronic fatigue (I think reasonably, haha) and I have been on Vyvanse 30mg for 2 years so thats not "new" but here is whats new: 30 lb drop in 7 months - no appetite, nausous bad taste in my mouth and i feel like i brush my teeth and plaque is back in an hour shortness of breath and i had a stabbing pain bottom left chest 4 times (one woke me up) my feet are always are so cold at the end of the day and swollen ankles my right shin is painful to the touch charlie horses in my right leg nightly wake up in morning with mid back pain on both sides (like an ache) my EF was 68% 2016 now its 50-55 my GFR was 83 in 2016 now it is 80 1 test showed elevated d-dimers in 2016 I have move 3 states in 4 years so all different docs and tests and records. At 1 point i had narrow artery in my left leg but my heart arteries are now proven perfect. I have had 4 abdominal surgeries (2 c-sections, hysterectomy and laporotomy) Im tired, I Feel off, doctors think its anxiety but thats been my life and ive never felt this.. multivitamin worked some with my fatigue.. just at a loss, feel stupid and crazy and i think my doc is fed up. any ideas of next step suggestions would be appreciated, even if its "check yourself into a mental institute" lol
30 lb drop in 7 months - no appetite, nauseous, bad taste in my mouth are all side effects of Vyvanse.
Ask for an alternative or stop it for some time. But any other medication in the same class will have the same side effects. The rest of your story seems unrelated and if you think your doctor is fed-up with you, you should consider another doc to rule out any underlying conditions before checking in to the mental health clinic. ![]()
get your thyroid tested. Are you on thyroid supplements? Also, some female hormones will help. You have been thru alot girl, I hope you get some real help from your drs. How about an endroconoligist (spelling) maybe they can get you back on track. My best wishes are with you.
So sorry that I have zero experience of your particular health circumstance but just saying hello and letting you know I read your input and hope someone offers you the right advice for you soon.
damn it you are not nuts. your drs are letting you down. check thyroid, female hormone levels,! You have had so many stressful things to deal with its no wonder you are exhausted! NOW! stop letting others determine if you are legite or not.f you feel it, it is! now tell your dr if he or she does not have the knowledge to help you t hey need to find specialists who can. get on line and check symptoms and possible health issues. be assertive and know that you have something going on that is making you ill. your body is asking you for help. now go get it and dont ever let anyone tell you taht this is not real. it is!
