Hi everyone, I’m suffering from the most intense anxiety / OCD in my life at the moment and I’m looking for some tips on how to manage it. The anxiety is a constant state of unease / panic, and I have become so scared of losing control and developing a more serious mental illness like schizophrenia (I know this is the OCD but I can’t stop worrying). I have had to go off work sick because of how severe the anxiety is - I’m physically unable to do my job at the moment. I’ve started sertroline (50mg) which I’m hopeful about but does anyone have any tips for managing anxiety / obsessive thoughts? I’m struggling to even leave the house at the moment so any help is much appreciated!
Inositol with choline has helped me and I’ve been suffering from a toddler. A good viatamin B supplement with a array of B’s., preferably derived from organic food..Mega Food is good brand. 8 hours of sleep per night, low stress, good friends and trust in god…Now in my 40’s I know what works and what doesnt. hang in there your alot stronger then you think..
p.s. just like drugs viatamins take time to work but you should feel better within a week.

I have replied to you with a recommendation for a book which is really worth reading. Unfortunately this has been blocked by the moderator. I don’t know why. The book is called peace from nervous suffering. I’ll try it without the name of the author.
Initials of author are CW
sorry for being off topic.
I believe you can have obsessive thoughts without having OCD correct?
I think obsessive thoughts come naturally with anxiety.
How does someone know if they have OCD?
