Crutchless

Oh my goodness I have been out without my crutch for the first time, although I've been walking around the house without it. Just 7 weeks so pleased with myself

Well done ! I think I might need to have walking stick surgically removed .

Lol I was chanting left right left right all around Debenham 😀

Well done Susan, great progress

Well done Susan, it's a great feeling when you start to get your body back to normal. Keep up the good work, but be careful. It's easy to forget what we have just been through.

Yes I understand telly and choc for me tonight 😆

Sounds like a plan. Enjoy your achievement today.😊😊

Well done. You should be pleased with yourself. My hospital didnt give us cruches, we have walking sticks. Been using 1 since week 4, im at week 8. stll use 1 out side but none inside. Had a bit of pain return this week. See what physio has to say on Monday. But well done Susan, roll on summer. X

So happy for you! Enjoy your freedom!

Whoop, whoop.  I kept a stick in the car for a while as a just in case but the feeling is great, isn't it?

That's fantastic. Well done! It must feel so good x

Well done you

Well done susan,

Don't you feel great, sort of liberated, without it?

Also you can concentrate better on things/people around you instead of the crutch if you know what I mean.

Yes I do know what u mean and I felt really good aching a bit now tho

Well done, Oh to stroll around Debenhams without any pain or sticks!!! Week 4, for me, walking around the house without any aid, climbing stairs without help too, but still have my stick outside ...

That's great x onward and upwards

Woohoo well done you

Having done just that myself today, also at 7 weeks, I can agree totally, it feels such a major step in the right direction.

I am now clear to drive (been out for first time in 3 months dueto 2 hip surgeries - eek!), and push my 90 degree rule as far as I feel comfortable, so socks and shoelaces next.

Progress has never felt so good.

Well done you, can't wait to bend down to put on my socks and shoes 2

Whatever will we be getting up to next

Now that would be telling - some 'horizontal folk dancing' I hope !
