Before I was on levothyroxine, and had my thyroid under control, my hypothyroidism gave me terrible depression and anxiety. I felt very immotional. So, yes, I would say it is normal if your thyroid is off, as depression is actually listed as a side effect. If you on thyroid medication, make sure your TSH stays around 2.00 or 1.00, to feel the best.
Yes. I find when my thyroid levels get really low, I cry. This is one symptom I use as an alert that I need to watch my thyroid levels and get them back up.
Oh yeah I've been crying this morning , and it is related to my thyroid instablity
