Hello all,
I am in a bit of a pickle this evening.
My mum went for a CT scan yesterday for side/abdomen pain. She has had a phone call this evening from the doctor asking can she go for a sit down chat with him tomorrow to discuss results as he is slightly concerned as the scan has shown some “thickening of the liver.”
I’m a little angry at the doctor if I am honest to just ring and leave her hanging like that until tomorrow. Is that standard practice? She had bloods done a few weeks back and the liver function was clear. She is confused and fumbling around this eve after the call. It isn’t nice to see.
Any info greatly received.
Dave
