CT Scan

I did a CT Scan about 6 months ago and have developed anxiety, I am worried about radiation. Has anybody done a CT Scan and did you develope anxiety from that? Please help I can't sleep anymore.=48px

You will not get anxiety or any problems from radition from one ct scan no, ive had several ct scans and an mri in the last couple weeks it would take many scans do develop any type of problems from radition you are safe

Thank you for your reply. Can I ask you if you live with anxiety? I am afraid that the anxiety and radiation together will make me sick.

I just started getting anxiety recently and have been dealing with it over the last month or so mostly health anxiety which is what it sounds like you are going through as well, it can be rough anxiety can have terible symptoms that make you feel as though you are sick and make you think something is wrong with you when nothing is just keep remonding yourself of that. As for the radiation i realy wouldnt worry at all one scan is no danger the macines they use nowadays have very radiation emitted from them

scans are always calibrated at the minimum effective radiation dosages in order that the patient has no ongoing problems afterwards and it is also a practice that time lapses occur between scans so that the patient is not harmed by too much radiation.
