I was shaving 2 nights ago and cut myself it hurt really bad and was quite sore. It has now scabbed over and looks like the picture attached, I know I cut myself there so I’m guessing it is just that but it looks a bit like herpes so I’m kinda 2nd guessing myself. It isn’t itchy and only sore if its touched, I’ve never had anything like this before and I don’t have any of the other symptoms of herpes. I know herpes can be dormant but I havent had sex for 6 months either. Should I be worried or is it just my cut healing?
From my experience this doesn’t suggest hsv of any kind.
I think its just from the cut. Cuts in the vaginal area may be more painful due to how sensitive the skin is. The healing may just take a little bit longer due to the moist area and friction from clothes. Try to keep it dry, clean and dont touch it.
