My son 21, got his first CVST while he was at the university last year. After taking Apixaban 2.5mg QD for almost six months, the Neurosurgeon stopped the medicine. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks of stopping the Apixaban, he got another CVST attack last week and he was hospitalized and discharged after 3 days, prescribed to continue Apixaban 2.5mg BID for a long period (even lifelong). I was told that repeated CVST is not that good. I just need someone to talk to who has been in a similar situation
