Two months ago I started seeing a lovely new man. The sex is fantastic! However, I'm paying for it BIG TIME. Currently I'm holding off my FOURTH round of UTI in about 6 weeks. I'm determined this time to not have to get antibiotics! I'm experiencing no pain, but just constant pressure. I'm taking close to 200g of cranberry extract tablets a day, Ural, water water and MORE water! I dont know what else to do. My doctor has told me about going to the bathroom straight after - it seems to work, but I have to literally LEAP off the bed the minute we've finished having sex. This round I'm SURE has come around because I didn't get up for about 15 minutes afterwards. I haven't taken antibiotics for YEARS and am a little bit appalled that in the last month I've had 3 different courses! And I haven't even STARTED on the thrush that came to visit as a result of all the antibiotics. There has to be a better way! I really like this guy, and am willing to consider any ongoing natural remedies in order to teach my body how to fight this on it's own - any advice? Any ladies in long term relationships that have had to deal with this with their partners?
i have had a partner on and off for a couple of months... everytime we have sex the next day im peeing razorblades... this has never happened with anyone else and its so embarrasing, im sick of cystopurin now and the thought of anything cranberry flavour makes me go green!... does anyone think certain people are not sexualy compatible as ive never had this problem before only with this new man
YES i have to deal with the same thing all the time.....and the thrush OH MY GOD how unsexy can you possibly feel....i dont think it could get any worse! im so glad im not the only woman although i feel for everyone that has to go through this...im still looking for the answer aswell i do think there is remedies that you can take for 6 months etc to hold off the cystitis and am going to find out more, i am only 19 and am determind to get rid of this somehow...i cant live the rest of my life like this!
Only have a bout of Cystitis after having sex with my partner of 20yrs, dont know why it started, Dont think it was even after sex the first time, prescribed antibiotics which gave me thrush {cleared with yogurt} live abroad now and can buy 'Ciprofloxacin' an antibiotic over the counter which gives instant relief, could the original infection be passed back to me by my partner? looked on net for male cystitis, surely he could still be passing it back to me :oops:
