Is a D&C the same as a uterus biospy? The hosiptal called me about my procedure Thursday and said it will cost me $2,034 for a D&C and scopic where they look around.
Well, D&C is scraping the lining of the uterus, the other is just taking a piece sample of the uterus lining, which can be done at the same time.

Is the cervix and uterus connected in anyway?
To get to the Uterus you need to go through the cervix which is the opening to the uterus. Google it and see a diagram of it.
