if i am taking antivirals to reduce transmission to a partner but have infrequent sex should i still take them everyday or just a few days before and up until we have sex?
I take my suppression medication daily because it also helps prevent outbreaks. I’ve only had one outbreak in the six months of being diagnosed with it but I know that was something I never want to experience again. I also recently just started my first longterm sexual relationship since being diagnosed and want to prevent my partner from being infected.
