Dark bumps deep under skin on my nose

Hello all,

I'm a 26 year old male, and for the past couple of years I've had 3 greyish small bumps that are deep under my skin (not lumps on the surface) on my nose. Two on the side and one near the end, they do not bleed, hurt or irritate in any way, and they seem to be more pronounced when I finish exercising or generally when I sweat. Any info would be great.

Thanks!

Harry

Sound like vellus hair cysts - 1 to 5mm in size. Can be flesh coloured or bluish/greyish. Form from several very fine vellus hairs which do not erupt the surface of the skin and form a tight coil beneath. If they are vellus hair cysts it may be possible to remove them as a cosmetic procedure. I'd always recommend you check with a qualified doctor for a proper diagnosis, though. :-)

I agree with Jaybelle that they may be deep deep fine hairs.  If you look up youtube videos you can see that these hairs can coil for years and when they finally do come out...omg!  That being said, if you're unsure what it is it's best to see a qualified dermatologist.  With skin conditions, that can usually easily be rectified, it's important to get it checked out sooner than later, while it's still a simple fix!

Thanks so much for the responses! Really appreciate it. I'm definitely going to get it checked out though! I'll let you know how it goes
