Day 26 on prozac

I'm on day 26 of Prozac 10mg and I also take Lorapzam as needed and to help with side effects of the Prozac . I had been doing really well for the last week and half no bad days at all. When I first started Prozac it was like a roller coaster up and down with some anxiety and headache nausea small side effects from the Med. I had a small panic attack yesterday and today I feel really shaky and my legs feel week I can't function at all even though I want to. Has anyone experienced this on Prozac it's almost a month that I started this med. I figured it would already kicked in for my anxiety.

Any advice would be really appreciated

I tried escitolopram and Prozac. I've taken lorazepam as well, but I wrecked my wife's escalade while on the lorazepam so I stopped taking it. Prozac sometimes take two to three months to work just fyi. I couldn't wait that long as work needed me.

Neither the escitolopram or the Prozac worked for me. The SSRI's make me sick and worse than I was.

The only medicine that has helped is Seroquel, I take the generic form Quetiapine. I take 25 mg at night to sleep and 50mg during the day to function with minimal anxiety. Works well for me, blocks the anxiety pretty well. Lower doses make you sleepy higher doses do not. Hence the 25mg to sleep and 50+mg during the day to function.

Hope this helps. Stay strong, as the months go on it gets a little better. I've been dealing with it for 8months now and I'm much better than I was in Feb. You will get better too!

It sounds like your Anxiety, give it at least another week or so. Please do not worry about it

I was at a Boat Show and had stood on floating walkways to long, my legs felt that that they did not belong to me and I could not figure out what was wrong until I mentioned it to my Wife. It was like we had been out to sea. I had thought it was caused by my Scots Treat the night before.

I have a question I have been on Prozac 10mg for anxeity for 32 days I am getting a lot of brain zaps or headache also some depression . Is this normal also what can I take to get rid or the headache or brain zaps I heard Advil is a no no on Prozac.

Give the prozac time to work, say two weeks. I you are still wondering talk to your GP.
