day 3 of feeling incredibly suicidal and more unstable than ever. Please tell me this is something to do with having started mirt 2 weeks ago? I feel awful, does it pass?

Did you start on a low dose i.e. 15 mg? You should have. If these feelings/thoughts have only come on since starting Mirt' talk to your doctor straight away, it's written in the possible side effects though CJ, so try not to let the wicked thoughts get the better of you, they're just thoughts (nightmare to go through I know, been there) ... doctor may well prescribe something else.
