another day in my world that is full of snow, blowing a lizzard at present with a capitol B in front! funny day with usual lightheaded feelings, slight headaches, little bit of the heart flutter type feeling which is freaky, but all in all not a bad day. managed to get to bed an hour earlier but still the wrong side of midnight haha. hope everybody is doing well
Blowing a lizard sounds wrong!!! Haha!.. A bit windy in surrey but not much else!..
Had a not bad day, but day off work!., I m in the process of upping the dose.. Doing 40mg every other day.. So far ok!
Question: as I was on cit for 7 weeks can I count this as I ve been on drugs for a few months, or as I swapped to Prozac did I start again!? X
hey glad you are coping with the transition from 20 to 40 okay not sure what you mean about counting the cit with the fluoxetine, time spent on ssris would be the 7 weeks plus your fluox time, but as for side effects and time scale for this current treatment I should start from day one of the fluoxetine, does that make sense? Probably not haha. yes the" blowing a lizard with a capital B" my strange sense of humour kicks in when I'm feeling good, we've had loads snow today but I really do'nt mind I love it! thankyou for your message
Hehe I cracked up at "blowing a lizard with a capital B", sounds beautiful, I ve never been to the snow, I've never even seen real snow! It's good to hear you're doing a little better and managed to get some more sleep. I also didn't get to bed til after 12. Something we both have to work on. I'm on day 16, not feeling much different but hopefully things will settle soon.
oh my goodness, you've never seen snow? may I ask where you live? I'm in the far north of Scotland UK and we get our fair share of the snow, I just love it, I think I was a polar bear in a previous life my sleep gets interrupted when my brain starts talking to itself, no consideration! I'm sure things will begin to happen shortly with your treatment Pippa, early days yet
I was quite impatient to begin with but now quite chilled (no pun intended haha)
I live in Sydney, Australia , no snow here. I have been to scottland though, it was beautiful, I went in July though (which is winter time for us but summer for you) and it was colder in Scotland's summer than it is in Sydney's winter! I don't know how you do it haha. But I would love to experience snow.
I completely understand your interruption with sleep, I have the same problem, racing thoughts and the like. Haha I also am very well known for my impatient attitude, I just want it to work now! haha it's so annoying that mendication for people with depression make us feel worse before better, as if we're not feeling bad enough already!
Well don't get caught out in the lizard, they're pretty heavy when they hit you lol :-)
In bed an hour earlier, that's good. More sleep helps with the lightheaded feeling and headaches.
