i hope evryone is ok so far,, woke up today feeling shaky and anxiety playing about, last two days was better today boom not so gd,, coming to week 6 mark and do you lot think is stil not kicked in what should i do ?? i m stil off work first it was for 2 weeks off note now i dont know what to do with citalopram ??
Keep going Ben you have done the hardest first 6 weeks just give it another 6 weeks. Are you taking a benzo in the day for anxiety if it appears?? Talk to Raj she got one from her dr and feels heaps better. You have done well getting this far!!

Ben, you have to stick with it. I'm on week 8, and have a real wobbler of a week with intense anxiety. Seems to have eased off a bit. Really knocked me back and my confidence in cit working. Everyone talks about giving it 12 weeks, and this is what we all need to do. Only when you've done 12 weeks, will you know if cit is/has worked for you. Otherwise you can end up switching different anti depressants, without giving them a chance. I think side effects are likely to be similar with other anti depressants. Stick with it.
Lois, Mark and marsh all say the same thing. You are giving me the confidence to stay with cit, as you all seem confident in what you advise. Thank you for your comments.
i m trin evryday so hard, i have a young family is so hard,, i keep ringin the nhs for counselling but is so hard to get throu 3 months waiting list... my thouts keep saying this is makin me feel worse and is not workin,,, it could be anxiety
yeh evryday is hard , u wakin up witha feeling i m gone get better,, i keep tring to think positive but so far is not workin much ,,

Please ask your doctor for a low dose of a benzo..even a half of dose of the lowest dose will help you...

i m so thankful for this you lot,, if it was just for the system will be hard, cray for help out there is so hard when you self employed and you cant afford private help ,, they only way i m trin to go forward is my family and u lot just to give it more time ,, SO from deep side of my heart i wana thank evryone whos replying to messages ,, and i hope will get thru this sh*ttty fillings

Side effects WILL Similar or worse on another med if Paroxetine is anything to go by.... hang in there Ben👍
Raj I had a bad day yesterday but at about 10pm I take my 30mg. At 11.30pm I experienced a very strange CALM and relaxed and peaceful period. My partner questioned me to make sure I wasn’t high or anything, maths questions etc. I was soo calm. It’s definately working one way or another...... this morning I am not trembling as much as normal but also not as calm as what I was like last night..... it was the most peaceful I’ve felt in months.....
How long have you been on 30mg?
did you feel like you were in a dream state... I get that too after taking the tablet
