So I'm on day 5 of 10mg citalopram and I no they say it takes a while to build up in ur system but I've been feeling great until this evening....I'm starting to feel more anxious again and wondering is this normal??
Hello yes this is normal at the start of taking Citalopram. Increased anxiety was one of my side effects but this will subside. I have very little anxiety now and no panic attacks and i am feeling so much better. It took 4 or 5 weeks to get the full benefits. It's worth hanging in there. Best wishes.

Hi, I've been on 20mg for 12 weeks now. Your side effects are what I suffered from as well when I started treatment. Stick with it, it does settle and get better. Good luck.
