So I recently had a Perianal abscess drained. After excruciating pain and an ER visit the doctors finally got it right. It was huge infected abscess. It got drained Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday I felt ok just a little discomfort but no more pain.
Then Friday I was in a lot of discomfort. I was had FOUR bowel movements on Friday and it was so frustrating because I had to change the gauze and clean the area every time.
Friday the wound started to sting.
Now Saturday I woke up and the wound was hurting a little so I got in the shower after yet another bowel movement. It stung while in the shower.
Is it normal ?
Will this go away soon?
