If anyone has both DD and IBS how can you tell which
one is causing the pain ?
I've got both and don't know if it's one or the other so not sure how to
treat myself. I had a blood test recently, no infection, still not sure
if it's DD or IBS .

I have both. I have determination my IBS is definitely a good sensitivity. I immediately get diarrhea when I eat something that triggers an attack. Usually happens after eating out or getting anxious.
Diverticulitis occurs for me after a build up of reoccurring bouts of IBS AND from TOO MANY SEEDS NUTS AND SKINS. I eliminate as much as I can but those pockets of diverticula fill up no matter how good I am. Hope this helps and if you experience constipation make sure you take a fiber before. Supplement and drink lots and lots of water.
