Dealing with HSV and taking daily meds advice

I’ve just been diagnosed with HSV 2 (two weeks ago) and I felt like my life was over. I’m 23 and fear everything I love doing is going to be a trigger. Reading this forum helped me gain some perpective and I hope in our lifetimes there will be a cure (theravax vaccine looks promising!) I had itching about 5 days after finish aciclovir for my first outbreak and assumed it was another ob so I took another course. Maybe I was wrong but oh well.

Anyone from the uk having problems getting a doctor to prescribe daily antiviral meds? I don’t want to wait till I have 6 outbreaks in the first year to get some bloody drugs !

I had the same feeling about herpes at first but after a month I started eating healthy ,no drink no smoke no chocolate....go raw food ,oregano oil , olive leaf , apple cedar vinegar ,BHT .....
