As any1 or is suffering with depersonalisation or feeling detached since being in medication. The doctor says it’s because of my anxiety. Any advice or reassurance please
Hey Debra, not sure how long you've been on the medication but I did experience some feelings of depersonalisation for the first week. It slowly went away though. I've been o Sert for 5 weeks and I'm starting to feel like my old self. Give it time, it's notoriously slow.
Stay strong!
Hi Debra, am I right in thinking you have felt like this for sometime now? Xx

Hi Debra.
I have had health anxiety for about 10 years after some pretty rubbish things happened in my life. I managed to get through for 7 years with citalopram. They just stopped working in august after my ex who was also my closest friend died. I tried to peservere and changed meds in January. I tried 7 weeks on sertraline was awful. A week in now on venaflaxine. I also try to do CBT and mindfulness. The depersonalization is awful I have learnt to just go with it and don't be afraid just remember it can't hurt you. Easier said than done I know. X your more than welcome to message me anytime xx
I haven't taken sleeping tablets just tried drinking it didn't work. Doctor has just written me a prescription for zopiclone so going to pick it up today x
HI Sharon I’ve been on them for about 3months now x
