Hello,
I have a long and complicated story with Sertraline. I started 7 years ago and was on 50 mg and moved up to 200 mg in about a month and a half. At the time I was taking valium every day as well to curve the panic attacks I had from consistently feeling like I was going to pass out. For 3 years I stayed on that dose along with the valium and i felt fine. I had almost no anxiety or depression for that time. I moved to a different state and honestly felt a lot better and stopped taking both the zoloft and the valium and implemented eating healthier, drinking more water and exercise. Soon I felt myself getting the anxiety creeping back in and had a mental break down about 4 months after stopping all medication. I decided to get back on zoloft but started at a much lower dose and actually stopped at 150 mg this time with no valium. I still had some anxiety that creeped in but nothing that wasnt managable. For three years i was on that dose and fine- again i decided that i didnt need the medication and boom three months later i had a very severe anxiety and depression relapse which started with a very heavy menstration cycle. I decided to get back on zoloft, first i did 25 mg for 2 weeks then went up to 50 mg for about 3 months and was having more good days than bad days. Now although i am still on medication I am feeling a relapse of my depression and anxiety. I have increased my dosage to 75 mg about a week ago but still no progress yet. Today I am having a really bad day and cant stop crying. Will this ever get better?
