Hi there I’m 26 years old and going through a very difficult time. I was in hospital for 3 months and got discharged 2 weeks ago. Due to my dignones sometimes my suicidal thoughts and images are that severe I act on them. As I write this .. I’m trying it as a distraction. Has anyone suffered from here horrible symptoms ?

If you are having these suicidal thoughts then we strongly recommend you speak to someone who may be able to help. The Samaritans offer a safe space where you can talk openly about what you are going through. They can help you explore your options, understand your problems better, or just be there to listen.

I think many of us have and still do suffer with these thoughts & sometimes actions. Are you on any meds?
I say this to everyone but it really does help me if I break down the week into days and the days into hours. If I try to think or plan too far ahead my anxiety kicks in & I feel worse to the point that I won't do anything but wallow. So by breaking the day up into segments it's easier to handle then before you know it you've gotten through the day then another and another & when you look back it's been a week or 2 & you're still going. Walks, reading, tv, socialising (if you feel like being around people), cooking, napping anything can be a welcomed distraction. coming on here & talking with other like minded people really can help to. Just take one step at a time & don't put any pressure on yourself. x
