Depressed for many years I've been on numerous different mess they dont seem to help. I just lost my sister last month to a car accident. Feeling alone she was the only person I could talk to about my depression and anxiety. Feeling lost and beginning to feel numb to life. Help please
Hi Amanda
i am so so sorry for your loss. Have you considered grief counselling. You may find it very helpful. Have you spoken with your dr. Perhaps they could suggest something either than meds if you are unable to take them. Maybe a naturopath(sp) could help as well. Though I think grief counselling will probably be very helpful. Sharing your feelings with others going through the same thing.
Again, i sorry for your loss.

Hi Amanda I am so sorry for your loss, losing a close family member is awful. Don't forget though that even those who aren't depressed would still struggle to cope but with depression on top makes it even harder.
Feeling numb is the minds way to protect yourself from things it can't deal with - sort of a protective shield round your emotions.
I really hope you can get some counselling to help you deal with everything. Bev x
