Is there a community centre near you.
Have you thought of voluntary work a couple of hours a week.
You don't need to work with the public directly. There are alot of openings, this would lift your mood x
First you need to see your Doctor, there are medication to help, also you will have push yourself into making changes, meet new people take up thinks that interests you, new hobbies, Photography classes. Get involved with helping other.
Good luck Alexander.
Hi Jimbo, I understand your feeling this way as i too have struggled with no friends and social life. Firstly you need to look for local groups, i started with a local one i found on the internet. These groups run all over the country and are mixed sexes and ages so you should find one to fit into. There are specific ones too, such as waliking, boardgames, travelling, coffee, vegetarian, eating out, days out, quizz nights, depression and anxiety and the list goes on. I still feel lonely as i really need companionship, i hope one day to find this thou i am not getting any younger haha. If you can do voluntary work that is another way of finding friends, there are charity shops, youth clubs, church coffee shops all crying out for volunteers. You have to make the effort as nobody comes knocking on your door. Hope this helps.
I wouldnt' just rely on facebook for friendships but look outside the computer world.
