I have been told to apply DERMOVATE for three months for labia LP. However I am not sure if I have been mis diagnosed as I cannot see any white lesions to apply cream, only redness. I am seriously considering finding a private derm or gyni but cant decide which. can anyone advise please.

I’m having the same problems as you and I’m getting fed up with no improvement I dont think the Steroid creams are helping me I look red no white what so every I cant stand my underwear touch my skin at all and no other clothing is it the same for you or are you getting relief

I am glad to say I am not suffering to the extent you are but I have been feeling so sore and like you didnt want to wear underwear. I think things are slightly better but I am still worried about putting the steroid cream willy nilly down there without knowing if its going in the right place. when I had this problem before it was very obvious where the LP was as there were white patches and the dermatologist was adamant that i should look to put cream on only those patches. I am still unsure whether to seek the advice of a private Dermatologist. what a nasty condition this is and worse still it is one that can never be cured.
do you have problems getting into settle down does the steroid help or make it more sore
