Dexcom Rash!

I have been using Dexcom One sensor for about three months now and every time I break out in a terrible rash from the adhesive. I have tried everything to help: Underlays, Hydrocolloid Bandages, Compeed Bandages, Skin Tac and Overlays. However nothing seems to work. Some rashes are worse than others but I really don’t want to go back to using libre freestyle as they are very unreliable.
Does anyone have any other suggestion/solutions that I have yet to try? Thank you.

I have found the FreeStyle Libre 2 to be significantly more reliable than the original Libre. The constant updating and alarms can be useful too. No extra cost over the original Libre. No idea if it would be better from a rash point of view. It does not bother me though.

I’ve totally been there. I have super sensitive skin too and went through the same frustrating cycle trying to make things work. I actually ended up switching to the Freestyle Libre 3, and I use a patch from Not Just a Patch. It’s honestly the only patch that works for me. I’m really active — I swim, work out regularly — and I’ve never had issues with my CGM staying on or irritating my skin since I started using it.

Also, I found that the placement of the sensor makes a big difference. You might want to experiment with a few different spots to see what works best for your skin. Hope this helps, I know how tough it can be!:yellow_heart:
