Hi finally got some DGL today and have taken 4 tablets. How long does it take to start working, do you have to build it up in your system? It recommends 2 tablets before meals, can you take more, for instance 2 before you go to bed?
Take 20 mins before main meals stick to the 2 in the instructions I also use pinenut oil gels also twice a day you could alternate these like myself .
i also last thing before I go to bed eat a apple this gives acid something to digest while you sleep !
After 3 days doing these combined all reflux in my throat had gone and minimal pain in stomach at night .

Best not to take more than 6 per day as you could develop what they call sour stomach. I think their best use is to ease the effects of globus.
