Hi, I was diagnosed prostatitis by my doctor (urologist). I am currently takong medication of azithromycin and doxicycline. However, i am freaked today as I think i got blocked epidymis tube (when I read on the Internet) as my sperm didnt come out any when I ejaculated. I am so freaked out, is this permanent or will it go away when my illness is cured? Please help I am desperate and wanted to cry...
Check the drugs leaflet it is probably a side effect. I doubt anything is blocked. It is likely just retrograde ejaculation caused by the meds. It will revert to normal after you have been able to come off the drugs. This happened to me when I was taking Tamsulosin. Now that I don't need it I see my semen come out as normal again.

This may simply be as a result of the pills you are taking. It is not a pleasant feeling but it is not harmful. It is called retro ejaculation. The sperm goes into the bladder rather than coming out because (I think) the drugs have weakened the valve into the bladder. Of course I cannot be certain but you should probably not worry but talk to your doctor.

Yes its awful, but after you come off the medicance everything will work again. I hate that doctors don't tell you about the side effects........ Hand tight it will work again!
