I was given co amoxiclav from the hospital for a cat bite for 7 days. Two weeks later some more from my GP for five days. Had diarrhoea every morning whilst taking them and now 2 weeks after finishing taking I still have diarrhoea every morning. No pain or nausea. Has anyone else took these antibiotics and had similar problems. Grateful for any replies.
I haven't had the type of antibiotic you have had. However, sometimes antibiotics can disturb your gut flora. Try probiotic supplements or yoghurt for 4 weeks and see if it helps. If it doesn't help, ask your GP about SIBO.

I am on these antibiotics a lot due to bad kidney infections and have never experienced this, it could be something completely unrelated, just coincidental with you taking these. Either that or you may have an intolerance to them or be allergic I would consult your GP asap. If it is related to them they might be able to give you an alternative. L X
It could be CDIFF. Get a test soon
As Phillippa said when taking antibiotics all the bad bacteria and good bacteria are killed so try a good probiotic and see if it settles if not always good advice see a GP
