hi so i had a melt down on wednesday in my doctors surgery due to my chronic health anxiety they referred me to crisis mentsl health team as i was so bad!its all a bit of a blur now,anyway doc gave me diazepam 5mg ,previously i had been given 2mg,i took a couple on wednesday and one yesterday as i feel thats all i needed however today my anxiety is again really bad,i took one this morning to try and get some sleep but my problem is ive thrown the box away and cant remember how many i can take in a day,i cant contact the pharmacy as its half day opening today so any ideas anybody what the usual or maximum daily dose is?thanku x
It would be dangerous for anyone here to answer that for you, best idea is to call nhs 24 if your in the UK, or call a local hospital if your outside the UK ,they will answer for you no problems
hi yeah i do get that,i did think that after i posted the question however i just thought maybe someone would say something along the lines of no more than 3 doses a day, there was no leaflet inside the plain box either ,my concern is if it said 3 or 4 times a day,and yeah i will call nhs 24
I was prescribed 2mg of diazepam which I was told by GP that I could take three tines a day if required. This was to help with my anxietry until the Citalopram took effect.
