i am now 7 weeks post op from having disc replacement c 4567 and feeling pretty good. managing to do most things now and due back to work in 2 weeks. still painful when sat at a desk and a bit scared about how i will cope. has anyone else gone through this recently and any advice please. thanks

I had my last lumbar fusion on 1/6/2021 ; all of my lumbar discs are now fused. I had been diagnosed with DDD, degenerative disc disease. I have had the following treatments:

  • Physical Therapy
  • Epidurals
  • Denervations
  • Three spinal fusions
  • One Laminectamomy
    Three months after the last operation, I started physical therapy again.
    I just completed six months of physical therapy at Professional PT in Bayside NY.
    Pain is still too high at a level 5.
    I am going to have Spinal Cord Stimulator installed Oct. 5. at HSS.
    You just have to keep working at getting relief and never give up!!!
