So two weeks ago I slept with a friend of a friend. Around the next day my symptoms started, from reading up on everything the symptoms were textbook and have been continuing till now and I think my lesions are healing. I went to the doctors a couple of times and was given antibiotics for a UTI but it was yesterday after two weeks of symptoms that I went to a sexual health clinic and was told it was herpes. I told the doctors there was another guy about 2 months ago and he said that from my timeline he definitely thinks it’s more likely to have come from the most recent guy (2 weeks ago) as my initial outbreak followed the perfect timeline. My question is... do I tell the guy who I think has given it to me? He may already know he had it which means he is an ass for not telling me it or he might not have a clue. I don’t really want to speak to him again now but then again what if that small chance it was the other guy means I could have given it to him? So confused.
Get yourself tested to make sure. If positive, then get the other two people tested. I hope it comes negative.
You should calmly tell the recent guy.Most likely he is the one,maybe he will be decent enough to get tested.Either way you’ve done the positive thing and can get some peace with that part of the situation.
