Its normal to get these aymtoms with anxiety , but if you are worried , go back to your GP and twll him , he might prescribe you something for the pain
Thank you, but I think it is just anxiety.
Hey Tim, if you're having back pain still like we discussed it can cause chest pain. Relax your back and straighten your posture and see if the pain goes away. Also try a water bottle on your back and places that are sore to help. The heat will stop the pain and help bring blood to the muscles to repair them.
Thank you. I do have back pain. I must say that it is a little bit imberesing to see someone who already helped me helping me again 😅
*hot water bottle...
Remember anxiety makes us slump forward in a defensive position which can cause you to have a lot of these weird feelings and pain in your chest. If you're hunching it can make your chest feel weird and spasm.
Oh yes no need to be embarrassed. If you have been checked out by your doctor and all is good. I think you are just having muscle tension from your back pain. Anxiety can make you hyper sensitive so the simplest things like being hungry or dehydration can feel like something bad is happening. I even feel strange if I have to go to bathroom when I'm hyper sensitive. It's scary but I find it helps me to relax, stop thinking the worst case scenario and look at the simple solutions.
I.E why am I dizzy? Dehydration can cause dizziness and I'm hyper sensitive right now...let's try that and see if it helps. Being aware of your hyper sensitivity helps too.
You are awesome! Thank you so much. I wish I can somehow help you. I owe you one.
no worries glad to help. I found the book Hope and Help for Your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weekes helped me out a lot. It's really short and to the point but helps you get a good mindset of how to deal with anxiety. She lists off symptoms people have from anxiety and how to deal with each aspect of anxiety. It's a great read...it helped me a lot.
