I saw an Rheumi today and he checked and rechecked my tests I've had recently and believes that I may have this...in conjunction to sarcoidosis. He said that the spot on my lung isn't from the sarcoidosis but believes that it lies with disseminated histoplasmosis. I have to go in for more testing the beginning of next week, unless he finds something by tomorrow indicating that it isn't this.
So, has anyone out there experienced this and if so, what did they do to stop it from progressing?
Frustrated
Oh frustrated I do hope not, not with your sarcoidosis. But if it is there are treatments and that is better than no diagnosis and no treatment. I will follow this this Discussion if I may although I have nothing to offer but encouragement.
Doc
Encouragement is always a good thing. I don't know much about this but was hoping someone could lend a hand and tell me. The internet is full of information but i wanted to hear from "real" people who may have had this and how they are coming along.
Wonder why Marey's discussions are always being blocked. Marey are you putting out a site link on here? Not sure why.
However along with a discussion Doc has regarding notifications, another example of me not knowing that anyone responded as I'm not getting any information via my personal email address.
Hmm. Please consider writing on here if you or someone you know have had this and if it passed or what?
Thank you,
Frustrated
Not to worry... Let your Doctor check all possible testing and ask many questions
about whats going on with you....Being Frustrated at 61 does not help.. its only going to maybe cause anothere problem. eat well, get rest, excerise and let your doctors get you their... soon you will get all the answers you are seeking ..... and give this to GOD... He know what is happening with you.........(;-
Thank you elsa and Doc ~
Yes, turning this over to God should help, I'll do just that. Meantime, prayers are always welcomed.
Frustrated
Yes Frustrated, the debate as to whether God heals or doctors heal is usually empty of conclusion. But God inspires medics just as on occasion he heals without human agency.. That is how my prostate cancer was found in July. this year. I was giving blood for annual MOT blood tests. Lobononist says, 'and a PSA?' What's that? I say, such was my ignorance. 'To check on your prostate." she says. "Yes, please. Thanks" I say. The rest is history, except that the GP practice don't do elective PSA testing. PSAs need to be ordered by the GP , usually on learing of suspicious symptoms. So I pray for inspration of doctors and nurses too.
