I was diagnosed with AV about 14 months ago. The only thing that helped was Yuvafem-2x per week after using it for 2 weeks each day. However, I had breakthrough pain in the spring, and my HCP increased this to 3 X per week. I then tried the diVa vaginal laser therapy. The first two treatments went well. The tone and lubrication improved. The third treatment is something I am still trying to recover-urinary tract infections and dysuria. I am 6 weeks out and had to see a urologist to help with the pain and infections. Supposedly the full effect and benefit from the treatment is 90 days.
Thank you for the warning. I am further convinced that deciding to use hormone cream is the right choice for me for now.
It is for me too I keep trying out moisturisers as well but they don't work well - best thing estriol.
