Miralax is taken once a day everyday & it does not cramp you. It just gets you to go normal. You just mix it in a glass of water or whatever liquid you prefer. You will be amazed at the results. Good luck

Can I just remind everyone to do their own research before

trying any new medication as what suits one person doesn't always suit another.

You aren't supposed to take Miralax without asking your doctor first if you

have IBS plus Miralax does have side effects which consists of bloating, cramping , dizziness .

I have been on Miralax for 2 years everyday on my doctor's orders. I limit my insoluble fiber and haven't had a flare for 2 years. You can do research on foods that are high in insoluble fiber.

My Doctor told me to use Miralax every day, but I learned you can adjust it as you go, now I only use it once or twice a week. it does cause gas bloating and dizziness, but you learn to adjust it , gas x helps if I get the bloating.

I'll take gas and bloating any day over diverticulitis! Not sure if it's the Miralax , not sure if it's limiting insoluble fiber but it's working for me.

Probably a little of both.
