Hi all , I have this diverticulitis and, i got a ultra sound came back normal. Then my doctor put me two different anti-biotic meds which have helped but, I'm still having the lower left pain underneath my left abdomin . Is this normal with this diverticulitis? I have had to change my diet it's been a little rough since there are healthy food that really tears me up inside. Having this really sucks!
Maybe the antibiotics have upset your gut; they often do. Check the medication leaflet to see if this side effect is listed. Try yoghurt to rebalance good gut bacteria lost after the antibiotics.
